According to Moneyfacts Group (http://tinyurl.com/z6scbrf) Milestone Savings (?) are offering 3.20% fixed per annum for a 5 year bond, minimum entry £10,000. That’s not a bad rate in todays market but is it worth tying your cash up for 5 years to get it?! A lot can happen to you in 5 years.
If 5 years is comfortable we work with an asset backed, 5 year fixed rate bond which pays 10% per annum, 6 monthly, through our partners …..that’s a difference of £3,400 at the end of the 5 years for the same investment amount.
